hello blackberry 

i have just moved on from a nokia symbian user to BB user

i bought a brand new BB curve 9360 and installed a 32 GB micro sd  card in it and worked fine but i had many problems with the device it self and i had to replace it with another one and i did this today.(the same and i took my 32 gb card and replaced it in my new one just to save time of re coping files and photos to the new one.

i installed whatsapp on the first one via app world 

and it did and worked just fine and the message history was working

but today when i installed whatsapp on my second one (device) successfully

i opened settings and found that message history is set to media card

but there is an error which states some file is not found or missing

and when i chat no message history is saved as it states at every top of a chat message message history is disabled

memory card is messing

note that : my memory card is new and working and was working fine on the previous identical device model

and yes i can access photos and music

plz help  i'm new to BB

I would suggest you contact the support team for WhatsApp to investigate this further as it seems like there is something with the app settings.

i already did so but no one replied me so far

but i managed to solve it my self

here is what i did

1- updated appworld

which solved many issues regarding app world

2- app world offered an update to whatsapp from ver (2.6xx) to ver (2.7.xx) so i updated and voilla it solved the issue, no error so far and it works
