The dude who set up my e-mail user name for BBM used the wrong e-mail address, so now we can't login to change it. (He forgot the password). Forgot password sends the help into space. No idea how to resolve this.

With errors compounded upon errors (e.g., wrong email address, forgotten password), you are stuck. So, you have a choice.
If there is nothing about that BB ID that you need to keep (e.g., no AppWorld purchase records), then you can simply abandon it and start over:
The solution is drastic, but it is what it is.
If there are things you must retain, then you have a harder challenge. You must ring up your mobile service provider, convince them to escalate you up to BlackBerry, and then further convince them to reset the BB ID credentials for you...it requires a human to accomplish that, and that is the only path by which to request that (and I do not know even if they would be willing to do it at all for you!).
