Can applications be downloaded to a PC, then installed on the phone? They only seem to send applications to a email with a link for a down load to a phone. I do not have web access thru my phone. I can't find a location on the BB site where I can download directly to a computer.

Hello,

 

the user experience you had with AppWorld is all it can deliver. You can only download & install applications OTA (over the air, meaning using a data plan).

 

but AppWorld is not the only place to download applications !

you can look at BPlay, MobiHand, GetJAR, and Handango. Most enable you to download applications in ALX/COD format, that you can put on your computer and then install on your device using a USB cable, through Desktop Manager.
