blackberry App World Storage Full

Hi, I changed my bb for 5 times already. And I'm now using a Storm 9530. It appears that my application storage is full. But I just happen to download only 1 app in the moment. How can I free that storage? Someone please kindly share some tips and advice for me.

Hello,

Please tell us the exact symptoms you see that make you believe that this storage is full. What, exactly, tells you that? And what, exactly, is your free App Memory reading?

Thanks and let us know!

Re: blackberry App World Storage Full

I opened My World. Click the BB menu button and chose ”show application storage” there it appeared a line of words saying : ”10MB out of 128MB free”

Re: blackberry App World Storage Full

OK...now do this:

  • Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

Immediately after your BB "settles down" and before you open any other apps, what is the reading?

Best!
