can't find Slaker

I just got my storm this week, and downloaded Slacker with no problem, installed it... and now can't find it.  I looked in all the folders, pulled out the battery... even tried to download again and reinstall... it shows up as installed in My World... but can't find it on my phone?  Any ideas?

Well, it sounds like you've looked in and done what I would have recommended.

 

Are you certain that you looked in the Downloads folder, on the Storm?

 

Also check Options > Advanced > Applications. Do you see it listed as installed there?

Yes I did that, found it, changed the permissions thinking that perhaps that was the problem... still can't find it... very frustrating...

The permissions wouldn't matter on this issue.

 

I know you've done it, but With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

 

Now look in ALL folders again.

Just did it again... and looked in all folders (Downloads, Applications, Application Center, Instant Messaging, Games).... nothing.... urgh!

Ok, try this:

 

1. From Options > Advanced > Applications, delete Slacker radio.

 

2. With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

 

3. Upon reboot, return to App World and download/install again.

 

4. Upon completion and confirmation of installation, return to the Dowloads folder and look.
