facebook app is stuck at 30% refreshing friends

I have a new Bold and had successfully installed the newest version of the BlackBerry facebook application. Then, I needed to reboot, and now, I'm not able to download my complete friend list. It's stuck at "30% refreshing friends". I've tried deleting the application and reinstalling but it's not working. Any ideas? Thanks!

This is indeed a known issue...see this KB:

  • KB18441 The Friends list in Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones 1.6 refreshes constantly


While it was supposed to be fixed with the most recent FB versions, we do still hear of folks with the problem. We are hopeful that FB and RIM continue to work toward resolution of the issue:
