I get this when every I logged in or open the fb. "You are currently on a service plan that does not support this app please connect to a wifi connection or connect your service provider to upgrade your data plan."
I'm not a WiFi expert, FB just works at home, so I don't know how to debug that.
If I were you I would check the app permissions for FB. You can do that by highlighting FB in the application management of your device, and in the menu "set default permissions".
