Re: google maps?

What are you trying to transmit using google maps?  Your location?

Generally as part of the download process, there will be a pop up with the application being downloading requesting that a number of permissions be set.  These permissions govern what  you  will allow the application to do routinely.  Some permissions have to be set or the application cannot function properly.

I have Google Maps on my Storm and it functions flawlessly.

Under connections I have it set to custom with all set to allow other than phone which is set to "prompt".

Interactions again is custom with Cross app Comm, Device Settings, Media, App Mgt, Themes set to "Allow"

Input Simulation, Browser Filtering, Security Timer Reset, Display Information While Locked set to deny and Recording set to Prompt.

All User Data is set to allow.

You can access this by Options>Applications>Google Maps>Menu>Edit Permissions.

Again with these settings Google Maps works flawlessly on MY Storm.

I use it extensively without problems of any type.

Re: google maps?

I came to this post because I was having the same problem and googled the error message. Edited the permissions as you suggested and am hopeful that Google Maps will now work for me!  Thanks for the helpful advice!
