help

How come every time i start a web bass app such as Facebook and twitter,foursquare or any app that connects to the internet to work i keep get a message saying( you are opeing secure connection but certificate is not trusted) and i would have to type my password over and over till comes off and i think it was because i have password protection on so when i to turn it off i found that has a lock symbol on it and can't turn off password protection pls help thank you.

Lacking much punctuation, it's a little bit challenging to properly parse your words into intelligible sentences...but I think I got it right...if I do get this wrong, then accept my apologies...and do please repost using proper punctuation and sentence structure so that we can hope to understand what you intend to communicate.

With the error message exactly as you posted it, I don't find any exact matches...searching through databases of course depends on accuracy...you may perhaps have better luck searching than I did:

Typically, this is due to one of two reasons:

 

1) Your BB has an IT Policy on board:

  • KB30076 How to check for an IT Policy on a BlackBerry smartphone

If it does and you are on BES, then stop now and seek support from your BES admins. But, if it does and you are not on BES, then prepare yourself for a lot of work. Start by taking a complete backup of your BB, as per the information available via the link in my auto-sig below. Then, conduct this process:

  • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory settings using BlackBerry Desktop Software

When you restore after this, DO NOT do a full restore...rather only restore those databases you absolutely require (e.g., contacts, calendar, messages) and especially avoid any databases that have anything to do with IT Policy, Enterprise, etc. If you restore fully, you will simply wind up right back where you are now as a full restore will dutifully put that IT Policy back onto your BB.

 

2) You have Content Protection or Encryption enabled. These require a device lock password in order to function...to remove the password, you first have to turn off Content Protection/Encryption.
