I updated my app world along with bbm and whatsapp and after rebooting m device the icons have disappeared. i went to the application manager and deleted app world and reinstalled itand rebooted which i proceded to do several times but it still hasnt worked. i saw on another forum to install the old one but this still hasnt work and the advice on the solutions page doesnt work either

and ive just tried installing app world from my laptop and it says 'app world is not available through usb device' so i tried installing my whats app which lead me to installing the app world. once the phone had rebooted it said 'uncaught exception java.lang.Error' which it has said before when id installed the app world and rebooted.

i used the information you gave earlier in this topic (posted below) but none of this has helped- i still cant find my app world. ive now tried installing app world from my laptop using a usb and straight from my phone but they are not working. each time i have installed it, after rebooting my phone for it to work properly i get an error message coming up on the screen.

Lets first try to find ur BB App World on ur BB...follow the steps:

1. On your homescreen, press the Menu key > SHOW ALL, so that SHOW ALL is checked.
2. Look in EACH folder on your device... Applications, Instant Messengers, Downloads, etc.

See if ur can find ur BB App World...

If u cant find ur BB App World from the last given process, then let's first make sure it's completely gone from your phone then we'll see about getting it reinstalled.

From your homescreen go to Options>Device>Application Management and look for BB App World. If it's listed in the list, highlight it with your cursor, press the menu key and select Delete. Now that we're sure it's gone, remove your battery while your phone is powered on then replace it.

 

Your next step is to go to http://us.blackberry.com/apps/app-world/download.html from your PC/Laptop browser and download it again from there.
