I couldn't find the FB icon either, once I'd downgraded to 1.9.  I did finally find it in the Applications folder.

Thank you all who helped me revert to FB 1.9+ from that awful 2.0 release.

That goes for me, too.  We have to remember that these forums are hosted by RIM, the maker of BlackBerry phones.  If we ever recommended an external link that did serious damage to a phone, RIM would be quick to give us a wrist slap.  I don't like wrist slaps so I don't do it.
