My Device: blackberry torch 9800

lost/stolen blackberry

Hi all i got my new z10 very happy with it. on the blackberry protect site both my devices showed the z10 and my old phone the blackberry torch 9800,it was on the site until a couple of weeks ago my old device dispeare.

why will it just disapear from the blackberry protect site (i think my house care stole my phone cant fined the phone any where). is it possible for blackberry to see if my pin is active ive also got  the imei number please help

If your older 9800 has had the SIM card removed, drained the battery or such, it is no longer connected to BlackBerry Protect. And, if you entered your BBID on the new Z10, then the 9800 is no longer associated with the Protect account.

 

Sorry, BlackBerry can't track your device.

Actually, you can have multiple devices listed in Protect. My wife still has her 9810 listed even though she's using a Z10.  It won't make anymore backups, though, because the Z10 is active.

If you didn't purposely delete it from your Protect account my guess is that someone else is using it and it removed it from your account automatically.

JSanders is correct, unfortunately, there is no way to track it. You might be able to report it stolen to your carrier and get it blocked that way.
