please help

my 9320 broke and has been taken for repears so for now i am using a 9300 and its asking me for my bb id and password prob is i no longer have accses to that email if i create a new acc do i loose all my contacts?????please help

To answer your question, if your were on BBM7, then indeed yes your BBM contacts are stored "in the cloud" with your BBID, so if you use a different BBID now, you won't have those contacts. On the other hand, if you were on pre-BBM7, then your contacts were stored locally, and you can restore them from a properly taken backup (which, for BBM contacts, is special, not part of the normal backup processes). On the 3rd hand (3 hands!!!), if you mean your non-BBM contacts, then that's a matter of restoring to this BB from whatever backup you previously took of those.
