twitter problem with bb 9900

I'm having problems with receiving notifications on twitter. It also doesn't update immediately when I post. I have to keep refreshing it. What do I do?

its a twitter issue.
you need to make sure you have set the preferences correctly within Twitter so you get all notifications
it will take a couple of minutes to see your post on Twitter

I've done all that. I've made sure my settings are set to show notifications, etc. It doesn't hold current followers either. I have to keep refreshing that as well to show new followers, etc

Yes I'm using the original twitter app that was already preloaded when I got the phone

i would delete it.
then downlaod the Twitter for Blackberry from App world and try again

I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I'm still having problems. I'm receiving notifications but its not updating my tweets or followers. What do I need to do?!!!

not updating your tweets, you mean the ones you send? Or the ones your reading, you're not getting your twitter timeline updated?

When I respond to a tweet or tweet myself, it takes almost a minute for it to post. Also when I click on my follower list, favorites, etc, it says twitter services currently not available
