A few months ago I purchased Quicklaunch through App World. Since, I have had to replace my blackberry twice, and the Activation Code for the program is PIN based. On both new phones, App World does not "regenerate" the new code on the new PIN. The support staff at NikkiSoft say that you need to "fix" my account as uninstalling all paid apps, and uninstalling App World, reinstalling, and clearing all caches doesn't seem to work to get me a new code. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Matt Novak

Hi there!

Given that these forums are the public user-to-user support channel (as opposed to a user-to-RIM channel), your inquiry needs to be sent as follows. Go to this URL:

and fill out the form. Use, in the "Please select a component:" field, the AppWorld Billing/Payment selection. Any other selection will simply route you back anonymously to these public forums.

Cheers!

Re: A few months ago I purchased Quicklaunch through App Wor...

I am having the same problem, I think.  I posted a new message before I saw your posting.  I don't understand why this isn't a legit post for this forum.  The underlying question, I think,  is how do you get rid of all traces of an app if you need to reinstall with a new device. I sure hope it isn't as complicated as it sounds.  It sounds like you did all that and it didn't help anyway.  Is that right?  Too bad I like that app so much-- I might even consider repurchasing it (bummer), but I am not sure that would solve the problem either.  So, I am hoping for some answers too.

Because the OP was told to contact internal RIM support, which is not available on these forums...these are user-to-user forums, not user-to-RIM.

Re: A few months ago I purchased Quicklaunch through App Wor...

Thank you for clarifying.  I guess I am not sophisticated enough to quite get when one contacts RIM vs. other users.  I suppose it must have to do with issues that involve the architecture of the phone vs. hardware or software issues.  In any event, I have a little better understanding of it now-- I think.
