AT&T BB Bold-Device Not Supported

I have been trying for the past 2 weeks with no avail to download App World to my Fiance's BB Bold. We have made sure he's updated to the latest OS (which is 4.6 something...)

 

We have an unlimited data plan on the phone. I've tried doing it on the phone itself through the mobile site (using the browser, not the WAP), and tried doing it through the USB route, and no matter what I do, it always gives me a "Device Not Supported" Error... 

 

I'm so frustrated right now. Can anyone help me out? I'm at a loss on options. I've tried a hard reset, everything I can imagine. 

 

I just can't fathom why one of BB's newest, most popular, and most sought after phones wouldn't be supported.
