BBM isn't working

I've been a blackberry user for a few months now and BBM has been working fine. Recently I accidentally deleted bbm from my handset, I've managed to restore bbm however all my contacts have blank display pictures and no status, also I cannot send or receive messages or contact requests! Please help, I can't talk to my gf without bbm Smiley Sad

what OS version do you have on your device ?
which version of BBm is currently installed on your device?

What version of BBM you've installed? If it's 7.0 then go to this link for downloading BBM 6.0 : http://mobileapps.blackberry.com/devicesoftware/entry.do?code=bbm6

The blackberries OS is 7.1.0

in the device options, find the BlackBerryID screen and log in.

Go to Options > Third Party Applications > BlackBerry ID > Enter you BB ID details.

bbm STILL isn't working...

my bbs OS is 7

and i have bbm 6

 

i have already tryed:

 

- Re downloading bbm

- re-logging into my BlackBerryID

Going to Options > Third Party Applications > BlackBerry ID > and entering my BB ID details.
