Downloaded BBM upgrade and now my SMS backup will not send messages to either email account installed on my BB Storm 9550

Grrrr. I just  upgraded Messenger on Monday and immediately all SMS backup email messages from my "SMS backup", app which worked like a champ before for over a year, are sitting in my device email with Message Status:General Failure.

 

My email (gmail and company exchange) itself is working just fine. I have tried reinstalling, clearing service books, hard reboots, looking for a setting that may have been switched...all with no luck. And, of course, I cannot get rid of BBM.

 

I even went ahead and bought the paid version and it does the same thing. Any ideas, please???
