Email address

I've not actually registered a BB id, as I've only had to develop apps on them before.

I've had to register an ID so I can install BB maps on a 9800.

However, when I tried to register, I was informed the email address was already in use.

I haven't created an ID from my email address, so how can this be?


Isn't there a method of password resetting from the email address its attached to?
