Unfortunately, no. You need a minimum of 4.5 for OTA. Same with the web-based software loading, which  you wouldn't be able to do anyway because you're on a BES.

There are other merits to upgrading to 4.5. It might be worth your IT team looking into for you if they're willing.

We are still looking into what's going on with that particular software bundle so thanks for sticking it out.

Desktop Manager 4.7 should work just fine.

The only stupid question is the one you don't ask before you reboot the BES.

Re: Facebook 1.6 problems

You don;t need Desktop Manager if you are on the system where you ahve outlook installed and configured, you can just use the Os upgrade mechanism.. Desktop Manager helps you back up your device outside of the implicit backup during the upgrade..

If you do it from home you'll have to be connected to your VPN so that you'll be connected to your company network. Or if you do it at the office where you're connected you'll be fine. Otherwise the device will have to be reactivated.

Re: Facebook 1.6 problems

I have OS 4.5.0.77 and I am on a company BES server.

Now I can not get my facebook calendar or my contacts to synch up.

I thought this wasnt the issue since I have 4.5.0.77?

Please advise...

Does anyone have a link to v1.5 as that worked on my Curve...

Your IT Department may not have set the IT Policies for them to work. Have a look at this KB article
