i realise that skype would be a strain for the bis but even a wifi only version would be acceptable.

There is no Skype version for Playbook, but you can go to https://imo.im/ in your PB browser to use Skype. You can even use your cam and mic.

BB should be great if Skype is integrated in. We have yahoo messenger, MSN,... but for most people I know, Skype is more preferred. Now Apple have already accepted using Skype, how long does it take BB to get it? If BB isnt gonna have Skype on Playbook, many people will consider to sell theirs, and I myself included
