adobe reader (or something similar)

Does anyone know of a web enabled pdf viewer for those pages that are in a pdf format? As far as I know adobe does not work

do I understand your need correctly ?

you browse the web, and come across PDF files. You want to be able to download them on your device and then view them with an application.
---> you can use BeamReader which is one of the best PDF readers available on BlackBerry devices.

you browse the web, and come across PDF files. You do not want to download them on your device. You still want to read them. You can copy/paste the URL of the PDF file, and use an free online converter that will process the PDF file on their server and deliver you a regular webpage with the content of the browser.The conversion will not be perfect but will do he job in most cases. --> http://www.pdfdownload.org/free-pdf-to-html.aspx
