issues with download

Please I am trying to download with my blackberry 9900 but I keep getting info saying cookies disabled from your browser but I have checked accept cookies yet I keep getting same message, what do I do? .

Can you clarify what you are trying to download and what type of file?  Are you able to download applications from BlackBerry World?

Thank you for the prompt reply. General downloads. I cannot even download from blackberry world because it keeps telling me to enable cookies on my browser. I have checked the accept cookies box but it keeps saying the same thing.
