missing application icon!!!

Last night I went to close out of Yahoo Messenger and being the flighty person that I am I accidently deleted it. I went to application manager and clicked on reinstall and went through process of reinstalling in and rebooted phone. Icon is still not there!!! I have tried reinstalling it several times and still cannont find it...anyone know what to do?!?

1. On your homescreen, press the Menu key > SHOW ALL, so that SHOW ALL is checked.


2. Look in EACH folder on your device... Applications, Instant Messengers, Downloads, etc.
If you still don't see it, look at Options > Advanced > Applications. Do you see it listed there?

Ok went to home screen and did show all and it showed back up in IM folder, but is now greyed out...what's up with that?

If the icon is greyed out or "ghosted" looking, that means you have it hidden (and you have you your "hidden" icons showing now, with the SHOW ALL.

 

So, scroll to the icon (don't click on it) and press Menu > UNHIDE.
