Odd is not the four letter word I was yelling as I couldn't see my appointments for the upcoming week.
What is your general setup?
Do you have two-factor auth set up? Do you have any shared calendars? Are you using ActiveSync or CalDAV? When you check your account in the Accounts pane of settings, does it show any authentication error? It could be possible that authentication failed after some time and so the entries would be removed from your device.

No 2 step authorization set up. No shared calendar. Set it up using caldav, when I tried the active sync I get the error message saying my account can not be verified. And if the authentication failed it wasn't after some time, it was after 1 day.
