Probably not. After several hours over 2 days of reboots, wipes, and 2nd new z10, we just gave up. Started from scratch entering all the bbm contacts manually.
Have not seen the error since. So it appears to be related to "device switch" only.

Same problem here with my Q10. I bought one, set it up, worked fine. Problem with the hardware, returned, got a replacement Q10, set it up, now BBM doesn't work. Sad, seriously.
