A Wireless Network Controller (ZyXEL N4100) is configured to redirect clients to a T&Cs page when an internet resource is requested.
Blackberrys can connect to the Wireless Network and obtain valid IP addressing and DNS etc. However, the Blackberry devices appear to discount the connection as a valid internet connection and therefore never reach the session T&Cs page.
Blackberry devices can ping the ZyXEL N4100 and can resolve the IP of the URL hosting the T&Cs page.
All other smartphones and tablets get redirected to the T&Cs page on WLAN session connect and go on to connect to the requested URL following acceptance of the T&Cs.
I assume Blackberrys are checking some IP is reachable to validate the network's usability. Can anyone advise what address(es) the Blackberrys need to be allowed unhindered access to or suggest an alternative solution?
