I am still new to Blackberry. My Phone has a new Icon that just appeared one day. it looks like a miniture flag shape rectangle. if has little stars that go from the upper left hand corner to the lower right hand corner. the top half if the rectangle is black and the bottom is blue.
Anyone know what this is. I shows up everytime I make a call now.
This happened to my phone today, I also have the Pearl, Pink, WIth Verizon. When I called and asked Verizon about it they didn't know what the icon is... I know I didn't change any options or anything, very very weird. Does it effect my calls, or anything?
I too received that Icon. I have turned the audio boost off and it is still there. I have the blackberry curve. Do anyone know who to remove that icon. It only appears when I make a call and I am with USCellular.
That icon appears for the enhanced audio for extra bass or treble during a call. You accidentally pressed the 'L' key while on a call. Place a call and press the 'L' key and the screen will give you the option of more bass or more treble or just even sound depending on how many times you press it. Note: The sound does not change unless you are using the earphones with the device. This is the case for the Pearl 8130 not sure about the older units. Try it.
