When connecting to a network via wifi the device reports its hostname as      
something like Blackberry-XXXX which is also the default bluetooth            
device name. How do I change the wifi network hostname to something           
else?                                                                         
                                                                              
This is a very basic feature of any network device, but I'm unable to         
find any help or documentation for the Blackberry. Thanks.

I too am interested in controlling how my blackberry appears when connected to a WIFI network.  I've done extensive searching and can't find the answer.  Is this really not possible without low-level access to the operating system?
