I previsouly used my BB to access my email using OWA. I was on the MTN network in South Africa and I am now in Canada using Rogers.
I have a problem where some external system is trying to login to my email but is trying the wrong email/network password. This is causing my account to lock-out multiple times per day. I suspect it is my old MTN email account with BB. MTN say that they have removed the account but how could I get confirmation from RIM that there are now email accounts active or otherwise listed for me?
Any advice, people I can call?

Call Rogers and ask them to get you onto their self-serve BIS site at http://rogers.blackberry.com . Once you're on there, add any email account you want associated with your BlackBerry. Only the account(s) you add there will be connected to your phone. I suspect that would solve the problem.
I hope that helps you. ![]()

Thanks for the reply Bill.
Rogers advise that I need to contact Blackberry direct because my email access details are sitting on my South African service provider's email server; basically Rogers cannot access/reset my email on the BB system. If they add it on the Rogers system it wont overwrite what my SA provider has on their server.
I will try contact my SA provider again in the morning once they are awake.
I called RIM direct and they want to charge for the tech support; All I need is for them to clear any accounts with my email on. I would like to avoid forking out money for support on a service that I already pay for. Personally I feel that RIM is wrong charging for tech support, its a paid for service already.

RIM is not the cause of your mail issue. The RIM servers will stop making connection attempts to your mail server after too many unsuccessful connections.
