Try your SIM card with another handheld (BlackBerry or other brand) and check whether drop call and disconnection occurs or not.
If so then you need to report this issue to carrier so that they can escalate this issue to their Radio Planning department.
If not then there might be some hardware related issue with your BlackBerry device. If you're with the warranty period then your carrier will get you a replacement or otherwise they'll try to fix the problem with your device.
