Gmail Reconciliation/BlackBerry Curve 9310/Straight Talk

I recently purchased a BlackBerry 9310 on Straight Talk. When I originally setup my email account, all my email showed up in my inbox on my Curve. I decided I wanted to do a factory reset, and after adding my BlackBerryID and setting up my email once again, my email doesn't want to come back. However, it's showing normally in my inbox via PC.

 

I've tried setting it up as a new account, sending Service Books, marking my email as "new" via PC, and manually reconciling, and the email is still not showing as it should on my Curve.

Current version: 7.1.0 Bundle 2167 (Up-to-date according to Software Updates)

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

The strange part of what you report is the original part. Only via BES are "old" emails able to be brought to the device when it is configured for that email account, and even then not truly everything (there are limits). Via BIS (which is how GMail works), there is no bringing to the device of anything received prior to the time of integration to the BB. How that happened for you originally is quite strange indeed. How you report it now is WAD -- Working As Designed.

I'm sorry that I can't offer a better explanation...quite odd indeed how that could have happened originally.

Is it possible to setup an IMAP email account on a BlackBerry?
