so my bb got stolen thought i could track it but that blackberry protect "thing" doesnt actually do what they initially claimed anyways im going to buy a new bb but i found out some ones using my bbm pin so how will i get all my contacts back on my new bbm?

Did you try with your local Blackberry Support Team.

Its all there but you know most of the times the Blackberry Protect returns unknown response or many a times no response at all. I have tried this myself.

Yes, if the battery is removed, or if the SIM card has been removed and replaced with another, your Protect will not locate or backup or wipe the device. All that is explained in the link I provided.

what about my pin that some one else is using? will i be able to get it back or my contact list that i once had with that pin?

nope not yet i will try thanks for the suggestion though, my provider did however mention that they will block my imei and bb pin but still didnt help because someone else has my pin now

When they block the PIN, that device will be disabled and unusable.

the girl is still using it maybe they havent yet blocked it, but i would like to get my old data back that i backed up is it possible?
