Hello Everyone, I have few blackberry backups that i made a while ago from my old Blackberry phones, i want to Extract and view the backup file (.ipd) so i can view and add the old BBM contacts i had manually, i am told to use:- - Blackberry Backup Extractor - Elcomsoft blackberry explorer So where exactly should i look for? Thanks

I did read the article, Now i am a bit confused ..... wait a minute, is BBM contacts usually saved only in the media card? I remember doing a local backup to the media card which i do not knw where it is, , i thought there should be a copy of it in the ipa backup file too. is there?

BBM contacts can be back up locally in the media card or onboard device memory. However, if would like to user .ipd backup and then restoring it then follow the steps mentioned below -
(After having a backup using Desktop Software)
To restore specific databases in the backup file to a BlackBerry smartphone, complete the following steps:
For BlackBerry Desktop Software 6.0 to 7.0
