Does anyone know if i buy an unlocked blackberry and put a normal o2 sim in it, not one with specific blackkberry data etc. if whatsapp will run off wifi without having blackberry enterprise? the same goes for bbm?

Whatsapp may work over wi-fi without BIS but to enjoy BBM on your device  you need BlackBerry data plan .
