what I would try :
1) connect your blackberry device to your computer, and set it as a USB Mass Storage card reader.
It then should appear as an external hard drive in Windows Explorer.
2) on the memoy card, delete all the BBThumb.dat files.
3) unplug the device, and do a hard reboot
4) open the media application and wait for a few hours for the indexation to finish.
hard reboot is this :
1) your Blackberry device is on
2) remove the battery and wait for a minute
3) Put the battery back
4) wait 5 minutes for the device to wake up.
