The "unread BBM message notification" icon at the top of the screen tells me I have new messages - but my inbox is empty. This has been happening for the past week and roughly everyday I get a new phantom message. I am now up to 9 new messages but I have no idea where they are. Can anybody help?

Any Groups you're not regularly checking, or Group's photos... calendar, etc?

I have checked all my contacts's profiles - easy to do as I have only 3 contacts! Do not have any groups. Checked calendar and all other applications. I have had my BB for two years and have not done anything different from my usual ...

11th down on the Home Screen Icons list, except I've got 9 new messages instead of 2

Open your BBMessenger.

Do you see at the top or bottom of that main screen any Pending invites?

At the very top, "Recent Updates"?

Nope, no Pending Invites or Recent Updates. My other contacts are family members living under the same roof and they have not updated their profiles.

What version of BBM do yohave installed at Options > Advanced > Applications?
