Photos to address book

Hi

I hope someone can help with this strange thing. I always liked having photo linked to callers. I've now passed my phone onto my wife and put diffent pictures on for her. Now when I try to link on to someone in the address book, I'm only given the option of a small rectangle in the middle of the picture and asked to trim it:smileyfrustrated. If the picture is full face, I'd only get the eyes and nose. Can someone tell me how this has happened and how to get rid of this please? Thanks in anticipation.

Re: Photos to address book

That's just the crop area. You can zoom in/out and move the picture around. Once you get it how you want, hit the menu key and there should be something like "crop & save". This will save the photo as you have it cropped.

Re: Photos to address book

Thanks so much for this. I think I tried selecting a picture and then putting it to a contact. It seemed only natural that I should be able to zoom in and out, but I could have sworn it would only let me zoom in, which of course made matters worse. That's a problem solved. Thanks again.
