General BlackBerry® Functions and Features

Hey people, basically i am very new with blackberry phones and are thinking of purchasing one very soon but i need some help and advice as i am abit confused!

I have been on carphone warehouse website and there is the Blackberry Curve 9360 for £16.50 a month on 02 and the tarriff states that it includes 50 minutes, unlimited texts, 500mb blackberry data and it says 'includes £6 bolt on'. 

Would this tarriff allow me to use all blackberry apps and the email service and bbm as well as the internet etc? 

Would i need to pay any extra a month than £16.50 for any other add ons for example bbm or the 'app world' or is this included in this tarriff?

Does '500mb blackberry data' mean i can go on the internet?

Does '500mb blackberry data' mean i have the app world?

Some of my questions probably sound stupid but i have been into a few shops and i have been confused at what the sales men have said so i just want to clear it all up.

Your questions are not stupid at all! In fact, it shows great intelligence to actually ask before purchasing...so many folks don't, and then find out after they are already in contract that they don't have what they thought they were getting.

Unfortunately, with hundreds of carriers in the world, each with dozens of different data plans, it's impossible to know what any specific carrier plan actually covers...so your question is actually best placed to them, as they will control the services you receive for whatever plan level you select. There are plans out there that include a vast mix of different BB-proprietary services, and the carriers control the plans they sell.

What I recommend you do is to make a list of the actual services that you wish to use (e.g., AppWorld, BB-proprietary PUSH email, Web, Social Networking, etc.), and then use that list to compare the various plans that are available so that you can select a plan that includes everything you require.
