QWERETY Keypad going away?

My wife mentioned to me the other day that she had heard on a media outlet that future generations of ALL Blackberries would not have the traditional QWERTY keypad, with real keys, but at ALL Blackberries would have touchscreen keybads only.  Say it ain't so!

No, that's absolutely not true, the media is plain out mis-reporting and needs their hearing checked and your wife should correct wherever she heard this lie.

“We are not abandoning the BlackBerry physical keyboard,” said Thorsten Heins, CEO of RIM.

Re: QWERETY Keypad going away?

Only one suggestion for entering accented polish language characters on QWERTY. It would be greate to enter those characters only by pressing and holing keys and nothing more! Currently we must use slide trackpad, so it is immposible to do this with one hand :smileyindifferent:

Re: QWERETY Keypad going away?

Yea that keypad is best with two hands.

Try the 9860 model, does well with one hand.
