Please read before telling me this is the most commonly asked question on these boards - it is, and in this case, it isn't:
Like many BB users at one time or another, my email is getting flooded with RIM messages saying "This message is used to carry data between the blackberry handheld an an associated server. Please do not delete, move, or respond to this message - it will be processed by the server."
I have seen many threads post a solution to this, involving configuring your BB correctly, instead of messing it up. It's a good, working solution for the BB user who did something wrong in configuring their accounts.
I am not a Blackberry user, and I never have been.
This flood of RIM messages started a couple of days ago, and won't stop.
What can I do?

But... did you inherit a PC on which Blackberry's Desktop Software has been installed?
Or... Did someone in your company get rid of a BlackBerry which might have been formerly associated with your PC in some way?
Are they coming to a personal email account of yours, or a coporate account?

Thanks for your reply! Was afk for a couple weeks there.
This is a new laptop, has never had BB anything installed.
The emails are coming to a web-based email service (Army AKO Mail).
I have considered the possibility that someone on AKO with a BB and an email address 1 character off from mine has entered my emial mistakenly in some kind of setup profile thing. I can't imagine what else would cause this.
I would just block emails originating from email@example.com but that doesn't seem to be an option with the less-than-robust email suite we use.
