Hi.  I have now two BB phones.  All my BBM contacts are registered on the Storm2.  Is there a way I can add them to the Pearl Flip and have the same PIN for each?  Please keep in mind, each phone will not be active at the same time on the same number.  I will switch between phones depending on what is needed for that day.

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!

Each BB is assigned, at the factory, a unique PIN in the world. So, no, you cannot have two BBs with the same PIN.

i have 2 devices with the same pin,and there is someone outside my country who also has it,this is causing the blackberry service to work poorly,and the bbm to work even worst,i would like to fix this problem.

Hello,

For both of your situations, you require formal support, which you seek from your mobile service provider. If indeed there is a different device with the identical PIN, then either a) an error has been made at the factory or b) there is an illegally cloned device out there with your PIN. In both cases, only formal support from your mobile service provider can escalate you into RIM for formal enhanced support from them.

Hello sdgardne thanks for the answered but when i contact support from my mobile service provider there is no answered and they said i must contact Blackberry or RIM for myself, but i'm not founs about email support BB or RIM, but actually now my hanheld going normal again my friend said that must be need 1 month to RIM suspend that clone PIN, thats to long for me because is always bother every day , by the way thanks before

There is no free method to seek any support direct from RIM...none. The only support method you can directly seek from RIM is fee-based...you have to pay just to ask the question. The only method to receive any free support from RIM is via escalation from your mobile service provider...they have the responsibility for ALL of your formal support, and must escalate cases into RIM that require RIM formal support. You cannot, for free, bypass your carrier. So, whoever you spoke with at your carrier either a) does not understand the contractually-required support model or b) feels that your issue is not deserving of formal support. In either case, you need to contact them again and insist on escalation into RIM for your issue.

Same case with me, and I've 2 other people in the world, that have same PIN and one is in indonesia, whose friend's BBM requests keep coming to me, I've like 35 pending requests. Second one is a lady from Nigeria and problem with her is that both my configured emails on device - gmail & yahoo and eventually accessed by her, and her email shows-up automatically on my configuration and sometimes I receive her email, so its a great mess-up, finally I contacted this lady and she told that she's the EXACTLY same PIN as mine, and that my mailbox shows-up on her's and now we both wanted to resolve the problem

So, I started with email support from blackberry, its FREE and we exchanged several emails and there's absolutely NO CONCLUSION so far and I'm frustrated

1. First the BB told that this is not possible and reg. BBM requests, I should ignore those requests

2. In the second email with BB, reg yahoo email showing-up on both of our devices, the BB told that someone might have hacked the email and that I should change password, I did yesterday and today again so many emails were read and moved to trash by the lady, so far I've requested her not to delete my emails and also at same time, I've removed both of my emails from the setup configuration, now at least that mailbox problem will be solved

3. On the 3rd email with BB, they told that its possible that my phone might have been physically used by the other 2 users whose PIN is matching, what a illogical answer is this when I bought my unlocked phone brand new and I should assume now that its used in Nigeria, then Thailand and now in India???

BB still has no clue, and I'm kind of frustrated and if I can't access emails with this, I'll have to move with another device I guess
