Hi guys. How do you type these special characters (ê / ô) on a Blackberry? I can get é and ó but not these. Thanks

It depends  on supported Input Modes on your device.

Try to change input method when typing a text.

Click Alt and Enter. If your device supports multiple input methods  the popup will be displayed to select a different input mode.

Re: Special Characters

if you are writing an SMS, there are fewer characters available than when you are writing an email.
for example letters like ç or ê cannot be typed in an SMS because they are not part of what an SMS can contain.

Re: Special Characters

Hello,

I just got the Special Characteres on my Blacberry Tour. On the menu, go to OPTIONS, SMS Text and on SCREEN OPTIONS, change Data Coding to Latin and save the change made. It will work for Emails and SMS Text.

Hold down the letter you wish to have a special character for and use your track ball to scroll through the characters.

Re: Special Characters

Hi there...

I followed what is above, but I realized that not all special characters are there... I wanted to use this character: š but I could not find it under any language... Is there a way to install it?
