I chose the Today theme for the 8830, which puts calendar items and messages up on the main screen, ala Win Mobile. I have noticed that the Calendar part no longer updates with the calendar, so items I may have deleted or modified remain unchanged on the home screen. If I click on a calendar item on the home screen, it goes to the original unedited appointment. Am I doing something wrong?
The only way to update the calendar part of the today screen is to change themes then change it back.
I am also having this same problem on a BB 8330. Works this same way with any Today theme. Calendar on Home screen won't update until themes are switched. Very annoying... I'm using Outlook (on an Exhange server) and a Blackberry Enterprise Server.
Found a fix for this. Go applications screen, select options. Scroll down to themes. Select a different theme, save it and exit to the home screen. Then redo process and select the theme you want and calendar info should come back.
