Hi All,

I need some assistance please. I use my wifi 24/7 then one day the radio just turn off and will not turn back on. When i select wifi under manage connections; the red 'x' remains and 'turn all connections off' greyed out. If i try turning on the wifi radio from setup wifi network i get a message saying 'Unable to to turn wifi on'. This is frustrating as my carrier data service is extremely slow. Please help!

Hello,

I think you can try two things : the soft reboot, and if it does not work, the hard reboot. Don't worry, you can't lose data with these two reboots.

Soft reboot :
1) Hit the three following keys at the same time :
- Alt
- Right Shift
- Delete
2) wait 2 minutes for the Blackberry to wake up.


Hard reboot :
1) your Blackberry device is on
2) remove the battery and wait for a minute
3) Put the battery back
4) wait 5 minutes for the device to wake up.

Hi, Thanks for responding. However, i did this several times and still nothing. On each battery pull i get 2 error messages: unexceptional caught and an index 5 error. Also did a wifi disgnostics report.
