so my friend and i both have internet on our blackberrys and the messenger already on them, and lately we've tried using it and we understand the process of adding each other by our PIN numbers, yet everytime it just says "pending" forever and neither of us ever gets the invite thing so we can actually add and talk to each other. i dont know if theres something im missing or what but if you know anything please let me knowwww

Are you on a BES?  Are you able to send PIN messages to eachother without BBM?

oh hi. um how do i figure out if im a BES or not? aka i dont know what that is. and i just tried to send him a pin message but it hasnt sent it just has that little clock thing next to it.

Do you know what a BES is?  Did you get your BlackBerry from some "system administrator" in your office?

Do you have a BlackBerry data plan on your phone?

haha uhh no i did not its just my t mobile personal cell phone ya know? data plannn as in internet?

Second, you need a BlackBerry data plan to send PIN to PIN messages.
