How, exactly are you attempting the transfer? USB tether? Bluetooth? Download from Internet? Something else?
What exactly happens when you make the attempt? Any error messages?
As you can see, details from you will greatly help us to be able to help you. Lacking details leaves too wide a field of guesswork.
