delete all SIM card info

How do I delete all the info from my SIM card?  I'm giving the SIM card to a friend but want to wipe it clean of all messages, contacts and photos first.

Thanks in advance!!!

Re: delete all SIM card info

Hello giff,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

The SIM card stores contacts and SMS messages, it does not store any photos. To delete the information from your SIM card follow the steps below.

To clear the SMS messages navigate to messages and press the menu key (left of the trackball), select view folder. Here scroll down to SMS SIM Card Inbox. Once here highlight the date press the menu key again and select delete prior. (This will delete all the SMS messages on the SIM card)

To clear the address book entries navigate to the address book and press the menu key select SIM phone book. Delete all the contacts. (This will remove all the contacts from the SIM card).

Thank you
