it's actually the blackberry browser - or how the file extensions are handled. dataviz (docs2go) are aware of the problem and may escalate to RIM/BB. i tried repligo pdf viewer. same symptom. so that starts to point at RIM as the problem.
i came from windows mobile, and while the BB is a strong device the WM6.1 phone worked well for me. i miss it at times. in fact, it was nice to be able to hack/tweak it - i.e. i can't change the default browser to opera so that i could download a pdf link. Windows Mobile was much more flexible (so you could get things to work)
