how do i get OS version 4.2.2 and higher for BlackBerry devices

I have an att 8800 with version 4.2.1.79... I want to get my audio to go over my bluetooth headset...

 

but i cant get the desktop to say 4.2.2 (or higher exists)...

 

I am running desktop manager 4.5.0.15 (may 2008)

 

any suggestions on how to update my device software...

hmm... Did all that.. but when i run 4.5xxx of the desktop software it does not tell me an upgrade is available for my phones OS...

 

my phone os is 4.2.1.79

 

any other ideas to get it to load???

well it depends. Which OS version did you try to install exactly ?
Did you take the one that concerns your mobile phone ? 8300 is different from 8310 which is different from 9000.

Try this downgrade your desktop manager to below 4.5 (preferably 4.2 SP2). Then try to upgrade your device OS. Let me know if it works.
